Don’t worry if you don’t have an ATAR or it’s lower that the degree ATAR, it’s not needed for your application.
These qualifications show you’ve got a solid foundation, and we’ll use them to assess your application.

If it’s been more than 10 years since you completed any formal qualifications, don’t worry! Your life and work experience matter.

HOW DO I PROGRESS TO GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY?
When you apply for the Diploma of Social and Psychological Science you will also indicate your choice of bachelor program.
You will receive one packaged offer for both programs.
Once you graduate from the diploma, Griffith University will be in touch with information for your to enrol into you next bachelor courses.
We host information sessions to help with your transition to Griffith University.
Yes, the Diploma of Social and Psychological Science is available online. You will attend one live, online workshop per week and need to dedicate time to prepare for this workshop.
We want your online study experience to be collaborative and engaging and encourage discussion and involvement in workshops.
There’s no need for an ATAR with Griffith College.
We can base your entry off any academic qualifications completed in the last 10 year, including year 12 a certificate III, IV or Diploma or incomplete university study.
If it’s been longer than 10 years, we can conduct an interview to discuss your readiness for study and take into consideration your work and life experiences.
You should plan to dedicate approximately 10 hours per course per week, including joining workshops, completing reading and activities, as well as working on assignments and study.
Additional time may be required during assessment periods.
HOW LONG WILL THE DIPLOMA TAKE TO COMPLETE?
To complete the program, you must successfully complete eight courses. The duration of your studies depends on the academic load you choose:
- A full load of four courses per trimester allows you to complete the diploma in two trimesters (8 months).
- Alternatively, you may complete three courses in the first two trimesters and two in the final trimester, completing the program over three trimesters.
- The minimum enrolment is one course per trimester.
