Our History

Griffith College officially opened its doors in 1997 on campus at Griffith University, Mt Gravatt.

Our very first intake comprised 98 students who were enrolled across 4 diplomas (Commerce, Hotel Management, IT and Design) and a tertiary preparation program.

Since then, we have added 7 more diploma options, an Associate Degree in Business, a non-award Foundation and Masters Qualifying Program to the suite of study options offered by the College. As a result of our expansion, Griffith College opened a second site on campus at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

As a Griffith University partner, we share campus services such as the library, computer labs, outlets, fitness and clubs, as well as specialist facilities such as simulated nursing wards, science laboratories, art studios, and a range of support services.
