The language of instruction at Griffith College is English.

International applicants and Australian citizens with international qualifications must demonstrate a suitable level of English language proficiency before being admitted into a program. The below table provides a list of accepted English language proficiency tests and required scores for entry to Griffith College programs.
If you do not meet the English language requirements you can undertake an English intensive course at Griffith English Language Institute (GELI) prior to commencing your Griffith College program.
*Students progressing to Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, Bachelor of Pharmacology and Toxicology; Bachelor of Pharmacy; Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, Bachelor of Sport Development, Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science have higher English Language requirements, please refer to Diploma of Health Sciences page for further information. Students progressing to Bachelor of Laws must have IELTS 6.5 (with no band below 6.0). Please check the Griffith University website to see if TOEFL, ISLPR, PEARSON Test of English (Academic) or Cambridge English are recognised equivalencies for entry to the bachelor degree.
**For a small number of diploma and degree pathways, you may require a higher English level for entry to the Foundation Program.
^ISLPR test results are not accepted from Southbank Institute of Technology. Only those conducted by ISLPR Language Services tests that show the statement “IIAA accredited” are accepted.
***The ISLPR test will only be accepted if it has been administered by ISLPR Language Services, 9 Gowrie Street, Mt Gravatt, Queensland.
