How to Enrol

Enrolling in your classes

Once you have accepted your offer to study with us at Griffith College, you will receive instructions on how to access the Digital Campus and enrol in your classes for the Trimester.

A summary of the steps is included below – but please feel free to reach out should you have any issues enrolling in your classes.

Note: Enrolment in classes will be unavailable unless students have accepted their offer.

How to Enrol

Step 1: Access the Digital Campus

You can access the Digital Campus at any time via the Griffith College website. Simply click on “Digital Campus” at the top right corner, and you will be directed to the login screen.

Your USERNAME is your Griffith College ID (you can find this at the top left corner of your offer letter).

Your PASSWORD is your date of birth backwards (Example: 19 Sept 2001 = 20010919).

Step 2: Set up your Griffith College email and profile

To set up your Griffith College email, simply click on the email icon on the Digital Campus and follow the prompts. It is important for you to check your email regularly for updates about your course and enrolment.

To update your student profile, click My Apps> Profile and Password. Please ensure you update your personal details as soon as possible. During your first few weeks, one of our friendly staff members will contact you to see how you’re settling in!

  • When providing your mobile/cell phone number, please add +61 in front of your Australian number and take the 0 out.
  • Example: if your mobile number is 0412 123 456, please enter +61412123456.
  • If you are currently offshore and do not have a valid Australian mobile number, please leave the fields blank.
  • If you are currently offshore, you do not need to provide the Unique Student Identifier (USI). Please leave the relevant field blank.

Are you of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin?

Students can enter Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander information under the regulatory tab when they update their profile.

Griffith College is committed to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students academically, culturally, and personally. If we know that you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin, we can help you access individual and personalised support from areas across the college including:

  • Enrolment and program selection
  • Counselling
  • Learning and academic support
  • Career opportunities

Step 3: Download your Program Planner

If you are unsure of which courses to select this trimester, please refer to the program structure and information section on our program information page.

Select your study program and download the Program Planner in PDF format. Open the document and keep it handy!

Enrolment tip:

It is critical that you refer to the Program Planner, so that you select the correct courses. If you choose courses not recommended for this trimester, you may have difficulties with timetable selection in future trimesters.

Step 4: Access your registration portal

Now that you have the Program Planner ready, navigate to the Enrolment/Registration page.

Select My Apps > Enrolment/Registration. Then click “Register”.

Step 5: Select your classes

In the class times page, click the “+” sign to add a course. Please refer to your Program Planner for course selections.

Important Notes

1. Labelling and numbering for classes in the enrolment system (timetable)

Classes numbered 1, 2, 3, 4 etc. will be face to face at Mt Gravatt Campus (MG)/Zoom and the room number will be listed as M14_X.XX/Zoom.

Classes numbered 20, 21, 22, 23 etc. will be face to face at Gold Coast Campus (GC)/Zoom and the room number will be listed as G52_X.XX./Zoom.

Classes numbered 30, 31, 32, 33 etc. will be Zoom only and the room number will be listed as Zoom.

2. Timetable clash

You cannot select a class that clashes with any of the classes you have already chosen. You may have to change class selections before you can finalise your timetable.

3. Study load

Full time: This is a study load of three (75%) or four courses (100%) in a trimester. Full-time study is a mandatory requirement if you are an international student or receiving Centrelink payments. Domestic students are encouraged to contact Centrelink directly.

Part time: This reduces the study load to one (25%) or two courses (50%) in a trimester. Australian students who wish to study part-time, please submit your request via an Enrolment Help Form. One of our friendly team members will assist you with your enrolment.

Step 6: Finalise your timetable

After you have selected your courses, click “Next”. This button will not be available (greyed out) if your registration is incomplete.

Step 7: Payment

If you have a payment due, you must arrange payment before you can continue. You can choose “Pay Now” to pay online with a credit card.

Step 8: Registration Finalised

Once payment is completed or if you do not have any amount due; click “Finalise” to review your class timetable before exiting.

Step 9: Review or amend your timetable

You can now review your timetable.

Amend to change your registration (you will be directed back to Step 5)

Exit to confirm (you will be directed back to the Digital Campus main page).

If you have any questions, check out our Frequently Asked Questions page for international students  and domestic students. If you can’t find answers to your questions here, please feel free to send us an email at GriffithCollegeStudent.Admin@griffithcollege.edu.au

Enrolment Troubleshooting

Classes are full and there are no other options

Please try again later in the day. Class sizes are reviewed daily and new options are opened when necessary.

My classes are clashing

Please choose a different class time. You may need to do this for a few courses until you no longer see any clashes. If you still can’t see any options that work, please complete an Enrolment Help Form via the Support tab on the Digital Campus.

I only have two courses left and it won’t let me finalise my timetable

We will need to manually enrol you, please complete an Enrolment Help Form via the Support tab on the Digital Campus.

I don’t want to choose four courses but it says I don’t meet the study load requirement

Please refer to “what is a full-time study load” and “what is a part-time study load” under Manage My Enrolment.

New students: if your Letter of Offer was for a fast-track offer to complete within 2 trimesters and you wish to change this, it may mean that you will be delayed in starting your entry to your bachelor. You will need to contact a Student Learning Advisor to discuss this and ensure it is best for you.

The courses I need to do aren’t offered this trimester

Please check your emails. If you have no course offerings, our team would have emailed you advising of next steps. In most cases, you will need to book an appointment with a Student Learning Advisor to discuss your options.

My enrolment is blocked / I have conditions that won’t let me continue with enrolment

New students: Please ensure you have provided Admissions with all the required documents. If you have, please contact admissions@griffithcollege.edu.au and wait for them to process your documents.

Continuing students: Please check your emails – we require you to respond to our emails before we can help. Some of the reasons you may be blocked are listed below:

  • You may be on probation and are required to first meet with your Program Convenor
  • You may have limited or no courses available this trimester and are required to meet with a Student Learning Advisor to discuss your options
  • If paying via FEE-Help you may no longer be eligible

I withdrew and want to come back but it won’t let me enrol

If you withdrew or didn’t enrol last trimester, your enrolment is no longer valid. You will need to reapply to return to the college. Please reapply via our application portal.

I have one Foundation course left, but want to do Diploma courses at the same time

You will need to be approved to enrol in Miscellaneous Diploma courses. To do this, make an appointment with a Student Learning Advisor and complete a Miscellaneous application request.

I am a Foundation student and my enrolment is blocked

There are lots of things that we look at the end of the trimester for Foundation students. To allow us time to do this and communicate with you, we block your enrolment to ensure that you continue on the best pathway through your studies.
