Get a head start!
Enjoy a sunny climate and a warm welcome from the locals.
If you’re wondering how well you might fit into life in a new country, you couldn’t pick a better place to live than Australia. It’s one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse populations in the world.
In 2018, 29% of Australia’s residents were born overseas, with mainland China and India ranking in the top 3 countries of origin. Collectively, Australians now come from over 200 other countries, with about 21% of the population speaking another language than English. It means that wherever our students come from, they’ll feel right at home in Australia, with so many people sharing similar backgrounds and cultures.
Griffith College is located in South-East Queensland, on the east coast of Australia
It’s known as the Sunshine State, thanks to its wonderful climate and blue skies. On average, the sun comes out over 300 days a year in Brisbane and 245 days on the Gold Coast. But the Queensland warmth extends far beyond the climate. Our locals are wonderfully friendly, making visitors feel instantly at ease.
We have two campuses, less than an hour apart. Our Mt Gravatt Campus is just down the road from central Brisbane, a safe, clean and modern city with a beautiful river running through it. The Gold Coast Campus is close to the relaxed beaches and energetic entertainment that the area is famous for.
From the Gold Coast’s world-famous Surfers Paradise to Brisbane’s constructed beach and public pool in the centre of the South Bank Parklands, students have a wealth of options to choose from!
Cycle routes are a great way to get around in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, they connect you to almost everything, and are a great way to stay healthy.
Access to parks and green spaces
Both campus locations have great access to parks and green spaces, many with sports amenities, like basketball and netball hoops.
Rainforest walks and mountain climbs
Just a short distance from both the Brisbane and the Gold Coast are stunning mountains and rainforests, perfect for walking, hiking, climbing and willdlife spotting!
With countless cafés, bars, restaurants, cinemas and theme parks within easy reach, and interesting markets and events every weekend, there’s always something to do.
